Hotel Chocolat wanted to grow their category-defining Velvetiser by building a more emotionally distinctive brand in a market filled with cheaper dupes.
The campaign, ‘Velvetise Into Happiness’, positioned the product as a symbol of “pourable chocolate happiness”, brought to life through an immersive hero film combining Gen AI and CGI, supported by a major ITV partnership.
I supported the hero film through the edit, helping shape the visual storytelling and pacing as the final film came together.
It became the most effective TVC ever within the domestic appliance category, increasing purchase likelihood by 67%.

Following this success we created a similarly kaleidoscopic journey to celebrate the ‘wow’ of Hotel Chocolat’s most popular treats.
